Single Day Rentals

Multi Day Rentals

Rules and Regulations

The renter/driver must be at least 25 years of age

Anyone driving the side x side must have a valid driver’s license and provided side x side insurance
-
Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited and will result in full loss of security deposit

All normal automobile driving and parking laws apply. Must abide by all traffic laws and regulations at all times

You can NOT operate the side x side on interstate roads (all other roads and highways are permitted)

All drivers agree to be in compliance with all laws and government regulations in regarding to use and operation of the side x side

Everyone must be seated in a seat and wear a seatbelt at all times when in the side x side

The number of passengers cannot exceed the side x sides designed and installed seating capacity (4 maximum occupants)

All participants (drivers and riders) must sign the rental agreement and waiver and purchase temporary insurance ($35)

Any riders 16 years or younger must wear provided helmet
Cancellation Policy
Side X Side Charleston’s Standard Cancellation Policy will be in effect. Refunds will be processed to the original credit card used for the reservation. The refundable amount is determined based on the number of days between the date Island Rides receives the cancellation request and the start date of the rental, as outlined below:

30 days or greater until the rental start date: 97% refund is available

7 – 29 days until the rental start date: 50% refund is available

0 – 7 days until the rental start date: 0% refund is available
Other Important Information

Lost keys will result in a $100 charge

Gas tanks must be refilled before pick up. 91 grade gasoline is required. Use of other types of gasoline will result in loss of security deposit

Vehicle inspections will be conducted at both pick up and drop off and sign off by renter and SidexSide Charleston employee
-
There is a maximum 75mile range per rental, any usage over 75 miles will be charged $.25 per mile.

Extra miles can be purchased at an additional cost
